We need people who are willing to devote their time and/or money for the PAC.
Left-wing politicians and their anti-American policies have become so harmful to our local community, our security, and our way of life that the San Antonio Tea Party has decided that it is time we take additional steps to take our community back. Therefore, the SATP board voted in our last Board of Directors meeting to activate our Political Action Committee (PAC). This PAC will soon allow our organization to positively impact local and state elections. We are currently going through the process to set up the new board and submit all required paperwork and hope to have all completed shortly.
For years we have limited our activity to educational activities and working as citizen lobbyists on important fiscal issues. While our 501c4 organization will continue those crucial activities, the PAC will facilitate local change through the election of fiscally conservative candidates.
The PAC is needed because radical leftists have changed America into something almost unrecognizable in urban communities. This transformation has been advanced by elected officials who do not represent the people. Bizarre and abhorrent behavior that would have been criminal just three years ago, like forcing women and girls to accept deviant males into their restrooms and locker rooms, is now being forced down the throats of normal Americans who want no part of it. The liberal San Antonio City Council promotes this dangerous nonsense against the will of a majority of San Antonians, and even the Republican-controlled Texas State House stabbed their constituents in the back by failing to pass the privacy bill during the 85th legislative session.
Against our will, the City of San Antonio has also decided to take our tax money to spend on training illegal aliens on how to skirt the laws and stay in the USA and how to collect benefits while here. The city is even filing a suit against the state of Texas over SB4, which requires local officials to comply with federal and state law. This means our city will spend our taxes to fight our state, which will spend more of our taxes to defend the rule of law. What a waste of hard-earned tax money. But these elected city representatives have no respect for the law and no understanding of economics. Many would not know how to balance their own checkbooks, much less ours. The session ended with a long list of unfinished business and unfulfilled promises.

- If you want to donate to help raise funds to kick this off, please contact me.
We encourage all who want to make a real difference to join us. We need people who are willing to devote their time and/or money for the PAC. The more support we get, the more impact we can have. Working together, the sky is the limit on what we can achieve.
Allen Tharp is President of the San Antonio Tea Party.
