Obama’s reputation as a political arsonist is well deserved. The fruits of his constant race mongering were seen again last week in Dallas when a black racist, Micah X. Johnson, shot 14 white people, including 12 officers, during an anti-police BLM protest in downtown Dallas. Five of the officers died.

Apparently Johnson did not work because he was killed Friday morning at 2:30, when most folks who work are fast asleep during the work week.

On Facebook, Johnson had “liked” various black militant groups including the New Black Panthers and The African American Defense League, who had posted a message on Facebook earlier in the week encouraging violence against police.

He also “liked” the Nation of Islam and the Black Riders Liberation Party, which are also reported to be hate groups. Johnson stated that he wanted to kill white people and especially white police officers. However, we heard nothing from Obama or the media about this being a hate crime.

If this had been a white-on-black crime, Lynch and Obama would have already classified it as a Hate Crime. They would already be in Dallas inciting more racial disharmony, and the Justice Department would be working full time to bring the perpetrator to justice.

I’m not saying it should be classified as a hate crime, because the whole idea of Hate Crimes is a terrible idea.  The entire concept of setting up specially protected classes of humans is asinine, divisive, and destructive. But the only thing more ridiculous than classifying something as a Hate Crime is employing an obvious bias for one race over another when making such a classification. All violent crimes should be prosecuted with the same fervor regardless of the race of the perpetrator or victim. Under the Obama administration, asking for fair and equal treatment under the law is asking too much, even though fair and equal treatment under the law is guaranteed under the Constitution.

The media mantra has predictably been that this was an “otherwise peaceful protest” except for all those folks who were shot, but many close to the protest had different stories.

One person tweeted, “disgusting … #BLM thugs flashing gang signs, laughing and dancing … while officers mourn.”  Another woman, who saw the protest from her balcony, reported hearing the protesters chanting anti-police chants and saying “F*** the police.”  And the fact that the BLM has repeatedly called for violence against the police was totally ignored because it did not fit the media’s preferred narrative.

Despite the attempted whitewashing of the BLM by the media and Obama administration, I think that most black people find the BLM and other militant hate groups as offensive as most white people do. El Paso Police Chief Greg Allen, who is African-American, was clearly furious at a press conference where he stated, “Black Lives Matter, as far as I’m concerned, is a radical hate group; and for that purpose alone, I think the leadership of this country needs to look at little bit harder at that particular group. The consequences of what we saw in Dallas is due to their efforts.”

The BLM issued a statement after the shooting but callously failed to show any sympathy for the dead and injured police officers. There was no apology for their previous statements inciting violence against the officers. There were no thanks to the officers who gave their lives protecting the protesters and no condemnation of the horrific act. In fact, the bodies of the Dallas police officers assassinated Thursday night had not yet been released from the morgue before Black Lives Matter announced a “Weekend of Rage” that resulted in disruptive and violent protests in many major cities, including Atlanta, New York, Rochester, Phoenix, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Nashville, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Paul, and Washington D.C.

The numerous visits to the White House by BLM leaders previously are very revealing as to Obama’s mindset. It boggles the mind to know that an American President would welcome these monstrous thugs in to our White House. The only conclusion that can reasonably be reached is that Obama himself is a monster.

To make matters even worse, we had to listen to Pandering Hillary and racist Obama scold white people as having some culpability for the Dallas shootings and other violent BLM protests. Sickening and disgusting are the adjectives most appropriate here.

Sanctuary cities attract known criminals who have no legal right to even be in the USA and create safe havens for them after they commit further crimes. These criminal havens are recklessly endangering innocent Americans and enabling illegal aliens to commit thousands of crimes that would not otherwise have occurred.

Sanctuary policies clearly violate federal immigration law, and this current liberal trend for politicians to cherry pick which laws apply and ignore those they disagree with is the height of hypocrisy. One provision of the law (8 U.S.C. 1373) bans local governments from preventing law enforcement or other government officials from sharing information with the federal government on the “citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual.”

Nevertheless, last week two bills that would have helped rein in illegal immigration and sanctuary cities could not pass the GOP-controlled Senate.

Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA), introduced S. 3100Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act. This bill would have blocked congressional funding to cities and municipalities that prevent their local law enforcement agencies from working with the federal government to arrest illegal immigrants.

Our own Senator Ted Cruz introduced S. 2193Stop Illegal Reentry Act or Kate’s Law. This bill would have increased mandatory minimum sentencing on illegal immigrants who reenter the country.

The fact that not even a simple majority in the Senate supported such common sense measures to protect American citizens is a sad commentary on the state of affairs in this nation. We have to keep up the fight to save America. This is why it is so important to be a part of the solution. Be an active part of the San Antonio Tea Party.

According to Congressman Lamar Smith’s office, H.R. 5611 was postponed indefinitely from floor consideration because of concerns that were raised about this legislation. Thanks to all of you who participated with the San Antonio Tea Party to let Congress know we opposed this bill.

You will recall that this bill would violate 2nd Amendment rights by placing Americans on the “no fly” list without due process.

H.R. 5611 would also create yet another costly and unnecessary Executive Branch position and would authorize wasting at least $30 million in additional spending on programs that will not help keep us safe.

Another flaw with this proposed legislation is that it fails to ban groups like CAIR and potential Muslim Brotherhood front groups from receiving grants or participating in “community outreach.”

Congressman Lamar Smith wisely opposes the bill. Congressman Will Hurd is still undecided at this point.
