VIDEO: Salazar, McManus, LaHood – Sanctuary Cities

We Say: President Donald Trump, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick are all aligned against and committed to eliminating Sanctuary Cites. Our own “top cops” are not so sure.

By the way, when did “illegal immigration” come to be called simply “immigration”?

    I disagree that there is a “broad” definition for the meaning of Sanctuary City.

    (1)”dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/sanctuary

    sanctuary definition, meaning, what is sanctuary: protection or a safe place, especially for someone or something being chased or hunted:

    (2)Definition of city for English Language Learners. : a place where people live that is larger or more important than a town : an area where many people live and work.
    Nothing confusing here.
    This same lame “talking point” of an excuse that we have to shelter these people so that they will come forward with information about another criminal is just that. These folks aren’t coming forward for ANY reason. I have heard this same programmed reasoning from every city official representing every city who is holding out in opposition of the sanctuary city rule of law, which means;

    The rule of law is the legal principle that law should govern a nation, as opposed to being governed by arbitrary decisions of individual government officials.

    I watched the video with Sheriff Salazar,Chief of Police Salazar,and DA LaHood –and all three double downed on their previous stated support of sanctuary cities. We must fight against them . The Sanctuary city bill in the Texas Legislature passed the Senate over six weeks ago –but the house has not seen fit to vote on it yet. It appears to me it is being stalled by Speaker Strauss–who is supposedly a Republican but acts like a Democrat. As far as the mayor’s race goes –we as conservatives –do not have a conservative candidate to vote for –they are all hardened left wing liberals.
